Hi, my name is Charleen. I am a Latinx, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Florida. I have been providing therapy to clients for the past 7 years in the community setting and now in my private practice. My most typical clients are women in their early 20s to late 30s, that are dealing with life transitions. That can include a variety of topics such as breakups, family conflict, career challenges, feelings of insecurity, attachment issues, friendship issues, anxiety/depression, and just general "I don't know what I'm doing with my life". I also specialize in working with clients from the LGBTQIA community, that are looking for a safe space to seek mental health treatment. Living in the age of COVID-19 has really intensified mental health issues for a lot of people. Feelings of isolation, loss, constant stress, awkwardness socializing, and other issues have come up a lot in my practice. I create a comforting and non-judgmental space in my therapy sessions where you are the expert of your life, and I'm here to help figure things out with you.
